Yellowstone National Park is recruiting students for its 2024 Youth Conservation Corps. The YCC gives participants educational, recreational and work experiences while living in Yellowstone, according to a release from the park.
“Corps members work together with National Park Service staff to complete conservation projects such as trail rehabilitation, campground restoration, and a wide variety of resource management, visitor support services and maintenance projects,” the release stated.
Though no outdoor experience is required, applicants should have a positive attitude, get along well with others and be willing to work in a physically active outdoor environment. Participants are required to live at the park and will earn a wage of $10.50.
Applications close on March 1, 2024.
