The Trail Stewardship Grant Program is accepting applications for 2024 between Nov. 1 to Jan. 15. According to a press release from Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, the grants fund developments, renovations of recreational trails and trailside facilities for both motorized or non motorized trails.

The program will award about $2 million in its 2024 cycle. Applicants can request up to $100,000 and must match 10% of the funding provided.

“Grant applicants may include tribal, state, county, municipal or federal agencies, school districts, and nonprofit recreational organizations and clubs,” the release stated.

On Wednesday Nov. 8, FWP will host a webinar training and Q&A session for new and returning applicants.
