Throughout spring 2024, Gallatin Valley Earth Day will hold free educational community events from experts, creative minds and activists in environmental science. The first talk of the 2024 season will be tonight, Jan. 11, at the Bozeman Public Library.
Dr. Sharon Eversman, will give a talk about recent research supporting the hypothesis that trees and plants can communicate with each other. Up next, Executive Director of the Alliance for the Wild Rockies Mike Garrety will give a talk about protecting habitats in unlogged forests on Jan. 24.
In total there are 8 talks in the series and three workshops starting in late February, culminating in the Gallatin Valley Earth Day Festival on Apr. 20 which will host presentations and workshops all day.
