The Montana Department of Transportation and CK May Excavating will begin work to rehabilitate 11 miles of I-90 between Bozeman and Livingston starting the week of April 14, weather permitting.
According to a press release, crews will replace asphalt on shoulders, ramps and sections of the road, rehabilitate bridges and upgrade barriers, add new rumble strips, signage and guardrails, apply chip seal and final pavement markings and address potential rock fall hazards near Bozeman pass.
Drivers can expect ramp closures at Exit 324 (Flynn Creek Road) and Exit 319 (Jackson Creek Road) between April 14 and 18. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction, with reduced speed limits and width restrictions in place.
Work is expected to continue through fall. Learn more about the project online or visit 511mt.net for real time updates.
