Yes, the rumors are true: Mayor Terry Cunningham will present a key to the city of Bozeman to Random Acts of Silliness on Friday morning. Random Acts of Silliness, an arts organization in the Gallatin Valley, puts on events for all ages to experience awe and wonder.
Before the opening weekend of the organization’s 2024 Bumblewood Thicket Fairy Village, Mayor Terry Cunningham will present a ceremonial key to the city at Glen Lake Rotary Park, according to an Aug. 26 release from the City of Bozeman.
“Random Acts of Silliness has inspired community magic for years through a variety of enchanting programs and interactive installations,” Cunningham stated in the release. “Bumblewood Thicket has become a beloved tradition that brings joy and wonder to all. It celebrates what makes Bozeman special—community, creativity, and a love for the outdoors.”
The fifth year of Bumblewood Thicket will feature new fairy houses, shops and structures by 20 “fairy architects” along the Glen Lake Rotary Park trail. The free, public exhibit will be open from Aug. 30 to Sept. 22.
