According to the Extreme History Project, the building was built in 1891 specifically to be a brothel.

According to EHP’s website, the building charts the history of the red-light district in Bozeman from the 1870s to 1918. Exhibit and building tours are offered on Tuesdays at 11 a.m., Wednesdays at 1 p.m. and Saturdays at 1 p.m.

General admission tours are $10, and $8 for seniors and EHP members.
