Mariah Gladstone, who is of Blackfeet and Cherokee descent, will give a lecture at the Hager Auditorium at the Museum of the Rockies on Thursday, Aug. 8. 1In her talk, Gladstone will discuss the history of traditional indigenous food systems and how reconnecting with these systems can lead to improved physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
She will also delve into how the destruction of natural resources negatively impacted the health of Native peoples and their environment.
The event is $8 per person and begins at 6 p.m. Registration is required.
