BOZEMAN – Montana State University will host its fourth annual Campus Rail Jam skiing and snowboarding competition at 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8. The event will be held on MSU’s campus at the Dobbie Lambert Turf Complex north of Lincoln Street and east of South 19th Avenue. The event is free and open to the public.
“Adding to the excitement this year, we will be showcasing local DJs and streaming the event live online,” said Chris Pruden, Student Success event manager at MSU’s Office of Student Engagement, which is supporting the event. Other sponsors include the Associated Students of Montana State University, PistenBully, Rockstar Energy Drink and World Boards. Bridger Bowl and Bridger Ski Foundation are providing assistance with course design and construction.
The competition is open to the MSU and Bozeman communities. Competitors are chosen based on application videos that demonstrate the ability to navigate a course. Interested athletes can apply by visiting the 2025 Rail Jam application form. The deadline to apply is Jan. 20.
