Southeast Montana will be stricken with the blues when the Magic City Blues Festival hits downtown Billings Aug. 8-11. The fest has featured some big names in the past, and this year looks to be no different.
Midnight toker Steve Miller and his band are scheduled to play the Budweiser stage Saturday as the festival’s headliner. Nearly a quarter-century after their debut album, Blues Traveler is set to remind folks that “the mountains win again,” every time. And singer-songwriter Allen Stone will bring his brand of acoustic pop-rock to the stage.
Celebrating its 12th year, the Magic City Blues Festival has been dubbed “Montana’s Urban Music Festival.” Tickets, reserved tables and information are available at magiccityblues.com. – M.H.
