Local author, Jeff Strickler, was recently honored by the Friends of the Library for his dedication and commitment to the Big Sky Community Library. For the past 3 years, Jeff has donated all proceeds from the sales of his books Biggest Skiing in America and Big Sky Names to the library. Following his recent presentation and book signing, FOL Chair, Kay Reeves, presented Jeff with a shelf plaque to thank him for his time and efforts in supporting the community library.
Both of Jeff’s books are used in Ophir classrooms for local history studies and are also useful resources for information on the Big Sky area. If you are interested in purchasing one of his books, both are for sale at the library or at local stores. If purchased at the library 100% of the sale goes directly towards the library.
