I-Ho’s Korean Grill will host a fundraiser on Sunday, Feb. 25 to support the Cancer Support Community Montana. I-Ho Pomeroy founded the restaurant two decades ago, and served as city commissioner up until her cancer diagnosis last spring. Recent scans have shown her cancer’s progression into her spine, paralyzing her from the waist down, according to a Feb. 20 Bozeman Daily Chronicle article. She recently entered hospice care, according to family.
Pomeroy was recently named a semifinalist for a James Beard Award in the “outstanding restaurateur” category. The restaurant has hosted many fundraisers over its lifetime.
Sunday’s fundraiser will take place between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., and feature a limited menu. Diners will have the option to donate what they can with 100% of proceeds going to the Cancer Support Community.
