During the session, planning staff will provide a brief presentation on current zoning and land use planning, key challenges and potential reforms, according to a March 24 press release. Community members can share verbal feedback on zoning reform in a discussion following the presentation.

While no votes or decisions will be made, the press release noted that public input gathered at these sessions will help inform future zoning policies. If attendance is high, time limits may be set to ensure everyone has a chance to speak.

The sessions focus on Gallatin County’s planning jurisdiction and do not apply to municipalities such as Bozeman, Belgrade, Three Forks, Manhattan and West Yellowstone.
