Funding available for historic preservation projects in Gallatin County

GALLATIN COUNTY – Matching grants for historic preservation projects in Gallatin County are now available through the Gallatin County Historic Preservation Board.

Individuals and organizations may apply for matching funds from $100 to $3,500 to restore historic structures, interpret historic events or provide public information about the history of the Gallatin Valley. Projects may include activities such as publications of historic materials or research in local history.

Applications and rules for the grants are available at the County Commissioners’ office at the Gallatin County Courthouse, 311 W. Main St. Bozeman on online at gallatin.mt.gov. The application deadline is May 15.
