On Sunday, May 4th, at 7pm at the Emerson Center, the Bozeman Doc Series will close its tenth season with the new film from award-winning director, Kathy Kasic, The Memory of Darkness, Light, and Ice.
A few years ago, scientists found lost sediment from a secret sub-ice Cold War base in the Arctic from the 1960s that holds clues to a time when the Greenland Ice Sheet was gone. The Memory of Darkness, Light, and Ice chronicles the discovery of this sediment and the critical implications of the science to our future.
Kasic will be in attendance and will take part in a panel after the film with local experts. Tickets are available at the door or before the show online at www.bozemandocseries.org.
