Presented by Winter Wildlands Alliance, the Backcountry Film Festival celebrates human-powered recreation and wild winters. For 20 years, the festival has sparked conversations about the human connection to wild places, encouraged grassroots activism in the face of warming winters, and inspired stewardship of our wild public lands and waters. Enjoy films featuring backcountry experiences, conservation efforts, and personal stories of reflection and discovery while traversing wild landscapes. Wild Montana is hosting eight screenings this year with the event in Big Sky sponsored by local businesses, Two Pines Properties and Ramshorn Outdoors!
Ticket proceeds support Wild Montana and our work to mobilize communities, advocate, and keep Montana’s public lands healthy, open and accessible. We hope you’ll join us in celebrating the wonder of winter.
