JACKSON, Wyo. – Two Wyoming entrepreneurs are poised to open the first legal distillery in Jackson Hole.
Travis Goodman and Chas Marsh are slated to have Jackson Hole Still Works in full operation by May 2015, with products on the shelves by summer. Jackson Hole Still Works will offer locally produced, handcrafted, artisanal grain-to-bottle vodka, gin, and whiskey. Products will be initially distributed throughout the state of Wyoming, with expansion to other markets as demand and production increases.
“The artisan craft spirits industry is vibrant and growing fast,” Goodman said. “Although the spirits market is still dominated by large foreign corporations, educated consumers are actively looking for high-quality … American made spirits. We look forward to providing our customers with the kind of unique product they deserve.”
Marsh and Goodman have a collective history of more than 25 years in the Jackson area. Both have started successful businesses and are passionate about customer service and entrepreneurship. JHSW will offer tastings and tours of their facility for those who appreciate local liquor in its inception and wish to learn more about crafting spirits.
