The year 2012 is in the history books and while the Mayan’s prediction wasn’t accurate, let’s hope as a society we evolve and enter a period of further enlightenment and peace.
In this paper we are covering an array of topics to help celebrate the New Year including the Top Stories of the 2012 (as nominated by readers), The Best of Big Sky (as voted by readers) and most importantly a tribute to the fallen angels in Newton, Conn. (pages 8 & 9).
Newton is 2,259 miles away from Big Sky, yet this distance cannot prevent us from paying tribute to the people whose lives were stolen. Our company takes our role in media seriously and we have vowed to not allow this tragedy to be forgotten. If you are inspired, we encourage you to take the enclosed tribute and hang it up in your home, office or business.
As our country enters into another period of debate, arguments and acquisitions over guns, fiscal cliffs and taxes, my personal hope for the world is clarity. I hope in 2013 we can each experience moments of lucidity allowing for thoughtful debate and meaningful progress.
At Outlaw Partners we are thankful for all the support in growing our business. In 2012 we had over 1,000,000 readers and amazing support from advertisers and our talented staff. Outlaw’s New Years resolution is to grow our readership numbers to 2,000,000 while remaining a good steward of our community. Thank you and Happy New Year.
“I found it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay… small acts of kindness and love.” – Gandalf, “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey”
