Big Sky Community Library
BIG SKY – The Big Sky Community Library’s bi-annual used book sale and annual Ophir Scholastic Book Fair is Nov.13 and 14. Held in the school gym, it will be 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, and 8:30 a.m. to noon on Wednesday.
To volunteer for the used book sale, call Kay Reeves at (406) 600-7152 or Kathy House at (406) 995-4281 ext. 205, or show up at the next meeting, Nov. 7 at 10 a.m. in the library.
October/November is also the Friends of the Library annual membership drive. Visit bigskylibrary.org and click ‘FOL’ to become a member.
In other news, a recent $5,500 donation from the Buck and Helen Knight Foundation will help the library buy a Smartboard and two new computers. The Knight Foundation has been donating to the library for more than 11 years.
