A guide to regional ski/snowboard film premiers

Fall is an exciting time for those who can’t wait to ski and ride. The peaks start retaining snow and stories of preseason backcountry epics roam the streets. Between September and November, big screen ski and snowboard films premier throughout the region, temporarily satisfying the deepest of powder fantasies. At these premiers, high fives are plentiful and the stoke is high. Here are a few ski films not to be missed this year. – Ersin Ozer

Jeremy Jones’ “Higher” – Teton Gravity Research

Jeremy Jones’ finale in the trilogy of documentaries that helped designate him a 2013 National Geographic Adventurer of the Year.
